Letter From Hell

Only three letters attributed to Jack the Ripper are generally considered credible. The "From Hell" letter is one of those three. It was sent to George Lusk, chairman of the Whitechapel Vigilance Committee, on October 16, 1888.Written in blood, it arrived with half of a human kidney, allegedly belonging to Catherine Eddowes, who was found murdered and mutilated on September 30, her left kidney having been removed.
